The Forgotten City

The Forgotten City oil on canvas 18x24 inches / 26x61 cm Online Store  I have been working on this one for some time, never finishing the castle or the details. Well, today I finished it. I had no idea what I was going to do, probably why it took so long. But I filled my music with older Sarah McLachlan music and got lost in the joy of painting. I like the results, kinda want to visit it now...

Wonderland

Online Store This has to be one of my all time favourites.  I have tried to duplicate it and I just can't seem to get the same feel.  I have often considered this the view opposite my painting   World in the Woods .   I painted this after reading Lewis Carroll's infamous  Alice in Wonderland .  I had never actually read the classic, leaving Disney to shape my idea of what the story was.  I urge you to read the book one day.

Home

Home oil on canvas not available Online Store I really wanted this to represent hope, warmth, a kind of 'coming home'. I painted it around the time I lost my cousin to cancer.
