This was really hard to do without masking tape...but when the idea strikes, you can't just go buy tape at 1am. So I improvised and feel it turned out quite nice. Like many of my paintings, this one takes on a new look as the light fades. In an almost dark room, the squares take on a glazed window sheen, which is perfect since the idea is looking at the rain through a window.
This particular painting was raffled off in a fund raiser for Prader-Willi Syndrome research.
