In The Bleak Midwinter

If you have lived through a winter in mid/northern Alberta, Canada, then this painting will make sense to you.

Usually the winters are very unpleasant, but I am no stranger to this experience. Sometimes you can catch a glimpse of beauty when you see the sun sparkling on fresh, -40C snow.

And I do love sparkles!
