The Forgotten City

The Forgotten City oil on canvas 18x24 inches / 26x61 cm Online Store  I have been working on this one for some time, never finishing the castle or the details. Well, today I finished it. I had no idea what I was going to do, probably why it took so long. But I filled my music with older Sarah McLachlan music and got lost in the joy of painting. I like the results, kinda want to visit it now...

A Place to Hide Treasure

A Place to Hide Treasure oil on canvas board 9x12 inches / 23x30.5 cm Sold I have dabbled a little over the last 2 yrs, more to just smell the paint, to visit an old friend. Picking a brush for the texture, spreading paint on the canvas like tracing the edge of a picture of someone you long to hug. We have settled ourselves into a beautiful city, and I have created a space to make it easier to paint. And I have been painting. The ideas are swimming in my head like a whirlpool of warm water - hey that could be something to paint...see? In the process I have been working on unfinished paintings, and creating some new ones.
